The Story of Bucks Mill
Welcome to Bucks Mill Venue
Bucks Mill was established in 1876 by Thomas Buck. He built the Gristmill that is on the back of the property and at one time corn meal was produced and sold from the General Store. Bucks Mill was once known as “ The Gathering Place” because everyone in this small community would come to get their corn meal, potatoes, ice, mail etc.
Bucks Mill was purchased by Josh and Shanna Hyatt in 2020. It is 3 beautiful acres of land with the Flint river flowing on the back side. Bucks Mill offers the cabin (potato house) as the grooms suite and the General store as the bridal suite. The 42x60 Pavilion offers a beautiful outdoor setting for your reception with a beautiful view of the creek.
